Privacy Policy
Linkevia uses only what is necessary to suggest relevant meetups, protect members and operate messaging.
Version dated 23 August 2026 · Public beta
Data we process
Account and profile: email address, name or username, age, optional gender, photo, city, bio and interests. Activity: Linkiz, participation, invitations, favourites, groups, messages, ratings, reports and blocks. Venue applications: venue name, type and address, manager’s name and contact details, optional website and submitted description. Technical data: session, device, security logs and notification settings.
Location
Your location is used to calculate distances and proximity alerts. Before confirmation, other members can only see an approximate area. A Linkiz’s exact address is shown only to authorised people, according to the organiser’s settings. You can decline location access and choose an area manually.
Purposes and legal bases
Our contract with you allows us to manage accounts, participation and messages. Consent covers location and notification permissions and optional preferences. Venue application information is used to assess the venue and respond to the contact request as a pre-contractual measure requested by its manager. Legitimate interests cover safety, abuse prevention, service improvement and moderation. Legal obligations may require us to retain certain records.
Recipients and hosting
Members can access data only under the applicable visibility rules. Essential technical providers include application hosting, Supabase for the database and authentication, and Geoapify for map search. We do not sell advertising profiles.
Retention and deletion
Account data is kept while the account is active. When an account is deleted, Linkiz organised by that member are cancelled, profile data and private messages are deleted, and historic group messages are anonymised to preserve conversations. Venue applications that do not result in a contract are kept for no more than three years after submission or the latest contact from the prospective customer. Reports may be retained longer where safety or the law requires it.
Your rights
You can export your data or delete your account under “Data and privacy”. Whether you are a member or a professional contact, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability by emailing contact@linkevia.com. Full formal details of the data controller will also be published in the legal notice before commercial launch.
